The World’s First LEGO School in Denmark - The LEGO Foundation is proud to announce that in August 2013, the International School of Billund will be opening it’s doors to kids aged 3-16 looking for creative and high quality learning.
Although most kids might be hoping for a degree in the art of LEGO Building, the school will base it’s programs on the International Baccalaureate curriculum framework, which is widely recognized in more than 140 countries around the world.
The LEGO Foundation owner Mr. Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen states that the school promises to create a stimulating and modern place to learn, experimenting with “allowing time for creativity, play and getting into a state of flow”, but agrees with the curriculum and many of “good old” learning methods.
Mr. Kristiansen hopes that the school will help in their efforts to give back to the town that LEGO calls home. The School of Billund is just one of many projects that LEGO has sponsored in Denmark, including an airport, community centers, church, theater, and a library; Oh my!

“Into The Clouds” Light Installation by Friendswithyou - Miami based art collective, Friendswithyou, has recently been commissioned by Fox’s new animation channel, ADHD, to bring their iconic cloud character to life at the workplace.
Knowing that “Cloudy”, a popular FWY character since 2002, is known for his power to transcend his onlookers to a relaxed and joyous state, the new ADHD team had FWY instal a handful of happy clouds in the entrance and stairwell leading to the offices in order to cast a positive message of happiness, connectivity and calm in the day-to-day.
ADHD is a block of highly stimulating animation airing Saturday nights on FOX starting July 27 at 11PM/10c and all over the internet right now. With a description like that its no wonder that the team needed FWY’s cloudy to help calm their workplace.
Wouldn’t it be great to find “Cloudy” in class rooms?
Nike Footscape Free For Kids - One of Nike’s newest cult classics, the Footscape Free, is now available in Toddler and Pre-schooler sizes. The hybrid sneaker, which married the Footscape’s upper with Nike Free’s sole, is a perfect combination of style and substance.
It’s quirky asymmetrical appearance, its fun combination of bright colours and its light barefoot-feeling stride puts these mutts at the top of our list when it comes to kids footwear.
Benny Gold Fog-Camo Sock Monkeys - Last Thursday, the team at Benny Gold in San Fransisco was invaded by a couple dozen crazy sock monkeys! These nutty stuffed primates, who have been contained at Benny’s shop, sport the unique Fog-Camo pattern created by Mr. Gold as an homage to San Fran and as a twist to the heavily trended Woodland Camo. The monkeys can be adopted for $40 but take care, these guys are not recommended for adult owners as they are head strong, mischievous and only obey equally adventurous kids.
Flawless SS13 Basics Collection - When looking for basics for your lil guys, be sure to check out the great selection of goods by Polish clothing brand, Flawless. No prints, no buttons, no strings-attached; just good-looking, well-structured basics for girls, boys and their parents.
We understand that sending your kids out and about in sweats might not always seem appropriate if you are style conscious parents, but rest assure that the Flawless garments not only provide comfort and room for play, they also look smart.
We like the ankle-hugging sweat pants and the wide neck hoodies.
Andy Prokh Photography - Russian photographer Andy Prokh has spent the last few years documenting a profound and everlasting friendship between his daughter Katherine and the family cat. Although some pics were probably taken “in-the-moment”, many are well-thought-out and conceptualized in order to creatively capture the true depth of their relationship.
As a result, Andy has created a series of clever, comical and timeless photos that represent the true essence of love and language between kids and their pets. They are fantastic.

Air Jordan 8 GS “Laney” - Tomorrow, Saturday April 13th, Jordan will launch an exclusive Air Jordan 8 for grade school girls. The Jordan 8 “Laney” will boast a grey upper, with blue and yellow accents - gender neutral in our opinion.
While dads will have to wait until next week for their “Bugs Bunny” Air Jordan 8s, your girls can kick it in their strapped up jays.
