Bones The AT-AT Dog - For Halloween, Laika House artist Katie Mello has created the ultimate costume for her dog Bones; a Starwars inspired AT-AT suit.

To create the costume, Katie first had to make a foam replica of Bones as to minimize the fitting on the actual dog. She than created a special hand made “speed suite” patterned after a pair of pajamas the dog wore at night. The suit was than painted to resemble the All Terrain Armored Transport.

The body is made from foam sheets that hardly weigh anything. Once painted, Katie  hand sewed a lining into the body to pad and secure it to the dog. Finally, she made little feet covers out of yogurt cups, and voila! He looks straight out of Star Wars.
