Miniatur Wunderland: The Largest Model Railway In The World - In Hamburg’s historic warehouse district, in the Northern part of Germany, you will find one of the most successful permanent exhibitions in Germany; The Miniatur Wunderland. It took over 500000 hours to create this sea, air and land journey through Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and America. There are over 900 trains, tones of ships, 250 computer-controlled vehicles (including fire trucks and cop cars controlling dangers in the cities) and a 3.5 million euro, fully functioning commercial airport with over 40 planes.
