The LEGO Movie “Official Trailer” - Our favourite building block toy company has tapped into the world of show-business and is about to become more EPIC then ever (is that even possible?).

In February of 2014, Emmet, one pretty regular LEGO minifigure, will mistakenly become the LEGO Universe’s only hope at survival. With the aid of his minifig friends, including Batman, a old bearded wise-man, and a punky-chick, Emmet will fight to defeat the evil tyrant bent on destroying their world by gluing it together.

The star-studded cast, which includes Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks and Morgan Freeman, just goes to show that LEGO is not messing around and that this is for realz.

Enjoy this first trailer and let us know what you think via our Facebook page.

The World’s First LEGO School in Denmark - The LEGO Foundation is proud to announce that in August 2013,  the International School of Billund will be opening it’s doors to kids aged 3-16 looking for creative and high quality learning.

Although most kids might be hoping for a degree in the art of LEGO Building, the school will base it’s programs on the International Baccalaureate curriculum framework, which is widely recognized in more than 140 countries around the world.

The LEGO Foundation owner Mr. Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen states that the school promises to create a stimulating and modern place to learn, experimenting with “allowing time for creativity, play and getting into a state of flow”, but agrees with the curriculum and many of “good old” learning methods.

Mr. Kristiansen hopes that the school will help in their efforts to give back to the town that LEGO calls home. The School of Billund is just one of many projects that LEGO has sponsored in Denmark, including an airport, community centers, church, theater, and a library; Oh my!

Looks like Elizabeth Banks, Chris Pratt, Morgan Freeman, and Will Arnett will be voicing the animated characters through their great adventure.

Also, in other LEGO movie news, the directors have decided to give fans an opportunity to get involved in the creative process of the film. They have asked fans, both adult and children, to design an amazing LEGO vehicle for the chance to have it appear in the movie. The vehicle must be made entirely from Lego and must look like it was original something else, for example a hot dog cart that turns into an airplane.
