Lanvin & Alber Elbaz Create A Dress for Minnie Mouse - Alber Elbaz has created a custom-made Lanvin dress for Disney's Minnie Mouse to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Disneyland Paris. Elbaz's inspiration stems from Minnie's love of colours, jewelry and everything sparkly. In his opinion, Minnie is a true fashionista!

For Mr. Elbaz this project represents a sort-of “fantasy-meets-reality” that allowed child-like naivety and purity into his work instead of the usual “glossy” fashion stuff.

The final product, a lovely electric-blue evening gown decorated with all sorts of sparkling tidbits and topped off with a ruby red crown; absolutely fitting to Minnie’s happy personality.

For Minnie and Alber Elbaz, dreams really do come true!

Lanvin Petite Fall/Winter 2012 Collection - Lanvin has recently released a collection of Fall/Winter kids designer piece via their online store.

All the current fashion trends including sequins, animal prints, faux fur and highly texture, almost “tapestry-like” materials are found on these delightful lil garments.

Our favourite is the Large “Dark Blue” Coat. It falls beautifully and looks like a old school cloak. I can almost picture a fairy tale princess wearing this Lanvin coat when on an adventure or lost in a dark forest.

Prices range from £170 to £925 for the leopard down coat. See for more looks.

Lanvin Petite Winter 2012 Preview - While we are fully aware that the current winter season has hardly come to an end, we thought you might still enjoy this sweet little preview of Lanvin Petite’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection. Looks like these cute French models were having fun shooting the campaign. Expect animal prints, shiny leathers and the tapestry look from Lanvin Petite next winter.

Lanvin’s Childrens Range - Back in May it was announced that Lanvin would be lauching a children’s line for Summer 2012. Yesterday, June 13, Alber Elbaz debuted the Lanvin children’s collection at the end of his Lanvin Resort 2012 show. As promised the pieces maintain a “super-luxury” look from one puffy dress to the next. Although it’s inevitable that sticky hands, snotty noses and chocolate ice cream will be wiped onto these small masterpieces, you can’t help but want to dress your lil princesses in these wonderful fairy tale-esque pieces.
