Andy Prokh Photography - Russian photographer Andy Prokh has spent the last few years documenting a profound and everlasting friendship between his daughter Katherine and the family cat. Although some pics were probably taken “in-the-moment”, many are well-thought-out and conceptualized in order to creatively capture the true depth of their relationship.
As a result, Andy has created a series of clever, comical and timeless photos that represent the true essence of love and language between kids and their pets. They are fantastic.

Bugaboo x Andy Warhol Collections - In May 2013, Bugaboo will introduce their first two collections from their multi-year creative collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Art.
Bugaboo’s Warhol-inspired “Cars Collection” and “Flowers Collection” will feature some of Andy’s most recognizable imagery on a handful of high-end strollers accessories.
With these new promised collections, and after receiving an incredible amount of hype over their last few collabos - for example their Missoni collection - Bugaboo has definitely established themselves as a top notch player in the baby mobility design world and is surely, if not already, one of the most coveted. If you haven’t considered a Bugaboo as of yet, be sure to look into it. They just know.

Calvin and Hobbs Nursery - This amazing Calvin and Hobbs nursery has been floating around the internet over the last few days and it has everyone we know writhing in envy. Seriously this is sooooooo cool!
Turns out the nursery was made for a young Finn by his loving and very talented aunt. According to pellari, a Redditor, the mural was created by slightly modifying an original C&H picture and then painted free-handedly by Aunty with the help of the grid-method.
The tree house was created by using a second hand bunk bed, which already included a sweet slide, and then adding wooden planks and wood laminate bits to make it look outdoorsy.
In any case, what a wonderfully achieved project!
Babar The Elephant x Soulland Capsule Collection - Although we generally only cover kidswear, we thought that this up-and-coming collection from Scandinavian menswear brand, Soulland, is one that shouldn’t be missed by parents and their young reading/picture-admiring enthusiasts.
Soulland has become the first menswear brand to license the original 1931 Babar artwork by Jean de Brunhoff. The new “Babar Meets Soulland” collection offers button-down oxford shirts, t-shirts, a sweatshirt and shorts featuring illustrations from the timeless children’s book “Histoire de Babar”.
The collection will launch at Colette in early April 2013 and will become available at Opening Ceremony, Goodhood, Hunting & Collecting, SOTO and Voo around mid-April.

The Wonderful Wizard of OZ Illustrated by Michael Sieben - Reputable Texan contemporary artist and designer, Michael Sieben was recently commissioned by Harper Collins to illustrate L. Frank Baum’s classic story, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
With all the hype about the new blockbuster film, Oz the Great and Powerful (out in theaters in two weeks), Harper Design could not have picked a better time to revive the outdated look of the famous story. It would have certainly been a shame if the story’s main characters were forever linked to the glamorous faces of Mila Kunis, James Franco, Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz instead of the now amazing new characters developed by Michael Sieben.
With over sixty un-traditional, full-color illustrations included throughout the book, the dazzling journey along the yellow brick has become an exhilaration stroll through a contemporary art gallery. The beautifully reimagined takes on Dorothy, Toto and all their interesting friends and enemies will surely have you and your kids giddy with excitement.

The Rammellzee Galaxseum Exhibition at the Children’s Museum of the Arts in NYC -
The Children’s Museum of the Arts presents the most comprehensive collection of works to-date by visionary artist and MC, RAMMELLZEE. Entitled The RAMMELLZEE Galaxseum, the exhibition will reveal the inner workings of RAMMELLZEE’s artistic vision and trace his career trajectory which began in the 1970s as a pioneering “Wild Style” graffiti writer and hip hop MC and evolved in manifesto and medium to the far reaches of the imagination.
RAMMELLZEE’s legend grew in a Tribeca loft known as the “Battle Station,” where the artist conceived a new vision for the future – a self-made mythology, known as Gothic Futurism, with its own set of heroes and villains, which he called Recyclers and Trashers or more notably, Garbage Gods and Monster Models. For over 30 years, RAMMELLZEE inhabited the universe he created, building layer upon layer of legend and legacy.
True Lilsnob Hype.
